Hey guys!!!

So I’ve started reading ‘All The Bright Places’ by Jennifer Niven and so far I LOVE IT!! I’ve been told I will cry soon so that’s making me nervous to continue… However, I wanted to do something a little different again so today I’m gonna be listing some of my all time favourite books / series that I’ve read so far. This is so so hard because literally E V E R Y T H I N G  that I read becomes one of my favourites!! So this isn’t all of my favourites because I have wayyyyy to many for that but this is a sneak peak…

As some of you may know if you follow my Bookstagram, @beccareadsbooks on Instagram <- if you don’t please click to check it out, my favourite series of all time is split between 2 of my favourite worlds. I love them equally as much!!! This is The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare and the Harry Potter Series by J.K.Rowling!! I absolutely love the idea of kick-ass shadowhunters who slay demons and protect mundanes (humans) and I love the world in which these books are set in!! There are 6 books in The Mortal Instruments Series and also a Prequal Triology The Infernal Devices which is just as amazing but even more heartbreaking 😦 I  also love the idea of hogwarts a place where young wizards go to study magic and play Quiditch in their houses (Pottermore says I’m Gryffindor for anyone wondering). My kitten is actually named after HP hahaha he’s called Nox🐱 There are 7 books in the Harry Potter Series (WE WANT MORE!!!!) and there are also 3 companion novella which are actually books that are talked about in the books (sorry if that’s hard to make sense of). But PLEASE if you haven’t already you HAVEEEE to read these books!! I know some people just watch the films of Harry Potter but there is soooo much more your missing out on if you don read the books!! There is also snazzy new covers available for both of these series so make sure you check them out!!

Next up is a book that I am still not over at all. I don’t think I ever will get over it. And that book is…….. The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. OMG THIS BOOK. I’ve read this book four times (honestly after the first time I don’t even know why I put myself through it again). Every. Single. Time. I cry. There is no way I could ever read this book and not cry. This book actually changed the way I look at things so so much. It makes me realise I shouldn’t take the people I have in my life for granted and should cherish all the moments and memories I have with them so dearly. I literally cannot even explain how amazing this book is, words literally don’t even describe it. All I’m going to say is this book will break your heart but it will also change your views of so so many things and it such a rewarding read. Pleaseeee go read it if you haven’t!! PRETTY PLEASE!!

Now this book is a book I read not too long ago actually and its was so so so amazing and the second book isn’t out in paperback in my country yet so I can’t get the book yet else it won’t match my first one (it sounds so weird but all my series have to match I can’t deal when there all mixed up). So I’m really really sad that I can’t read the second one yet😩 Anyways this book is….. Alienated by Melissa Landers!! This book was completely different to any book I’d read before as I had more of a sci-fi alien theme to it and I LOVED it!!! Cara and Aelyx are such amazing characters that work so well together!! Honestly this book is sooooo awesome & you should all go read it like right now!!!! And of course I am most certainly a L’annabe!!

Next up is one of my absolute favourite Trilogy’s!!! And that is…..The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins!!! I loveeee these books so so so much!!! They are so empowering !!! Katniss (the main character in the series and who the books point of view is from) is such a bad-ass ‘don’t mess with me’ kind of character and I love how she rebels against what is wrong to make sure that what is right will happen! This is a trilogy that also has its own movies & the last movie is due to hit the big screens this November!! I cannot explain how excited I am as they have adapted the past movies so well from the books and kept in so so much so I’m eager to see how they will end the movies. Please go read these books!!!

Last up is a triology not many people that I know have read and that is…. the Perfect Chemistry Series by Simone Elkles!! I absolutely adore these books and they literally are Outstanding!! I found these books when scrolling down my timeline on Twitter and someone had posted a picture of the blurb of the first book ‘Perfect Chemistry’. As soon as I read the blurb I was dyinggggg to read the book so I got the e-book version and I did not put my kindle down until I had read the book & that was it I had fallen in love. After reading the first book I searched everywhere to buy the paperback copy but had no luck until I found them online!! I then bought them and ever since I have adored this series!! One of my favourite quotes from the first book is

“we are actors in our lives, pretendin’ to be who we want people to think we are”

and I think it’s just beautiful and so relatable to today’s society!! This series also has snazzy new covers so check them out!!! Please please please go read these books I could express enough how amazing they are!!
