My Summer TBR

Like many other bibliophiles I also have a TBR pile, or should I say 2 shelves of books I have not yet read staring at me judging-ly, that consists of ridiculous amounts of books I have self-indulgently bought with all intentions of reading but just not had the time as of yet…..

however

This summer starts early for me as I sit my last A2 exam for college on the 20th of June which means I am then free to read as many books as my heart desires without feeling guilty as I should be revising – the last book I read was Lady Midnight and I haven’t had time to do anything but re-read  college books/plays for my exams *sigh* it will all be worth it in the end!!!

And as if exams being over soon wasn’t exciting enough on the 31st of July (THE DAY THAT HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD COMES OUT) I fly out to New York City to spend 3 and a half weeks in the USA with my American family – shout out to my Auntie Ruth, Uncle Greame, Lucy & Jack – and I am sooooo excited as they live close to a three-story book store *le dies* Also CANNOT wait to visit Barnes & Noble 😀

So during my crazy summer I intend to read as many books as I possibly can and finally get on-top of my TBR and regain control.

These are the books/series I intend to marathon through this summer…

  • The ENTIRE Percy Jackson Series
  • Harry Potter and the Cursed Child – as soon as I get my hands on it
  • When We Collided
  • I’ll give you the Sun
  • The Summer I Turned Pretty series
  • Faceless
  • Beautfiul Broken Things
  • Roof Toppers
  • The Art of Being Normal
  • Carry On
  • Copper Gauntlet
  • We all Looked Up
  • Extraordinary Means
  • & a few more i’m not sure of yet

If you have any recommendations please let me know!!

Thank you for Reading  xo
